I would describe myself as realistic and I don't expect that marriage, or any relationship, no matter how much two people love each other, to be a 'bed of roses' all the time. There will be ups and downs and good days and bad and so I'm ready to experience this and ready for the reality. I also think a relationship needs to be based on trust, honesty, respect and both people being prepared to compromise. Two people will be different and, if they come from different backgrounds and cultures then the differences will be even bigger but I would like to think that the bonds that grow between will be stronger for these differences.

I think it takes time to get to know someone.
